Terenten is a village of 1,800 souls nestled at 1,210 metres of altitude. The special thing about Terenten is that it enjoys more hours of sunshine than any other locality in South Tyrol in Italy.
In winter, you can get your daily fix of sun rays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., while in summer the sun comes up much earlier and doesn’t set until 8 p.m. This sunny location is reflected in the sunny disposition of the locals, who are known for their warmth and friendliness. Perhaps this is why some say that the sun never sets in Terenten. The village, which is also called Terento in the Italian language, is located on a high plateau above the Pustertal valley
Enjoy nature to the fullest - in every season.
